Zambales (March2013)

Last March, we went to Magalawa Island and Potipot Zambales. Rented a van and it was a looooong drive. 5 to 6 hours tops from Manila to Zambales. Good thing we rented a van. Or else, we have to endure the long pain-in-the-butt ride at the bus :p Yes, renting a van is more comfortable. Though I've already experienced going places riding a bus, I still prefer renting a van if there are no toilets available for me to pee :p hahaha! When we went to Baguio last year, we rode a bus that has a comfort room :) 

Anyway, when we first got to Zambales, of course we have to look for Magalawa since all of us are first timers. We took the rough road going to the beach port. A VERY rough one indeed. We we're like, WTF. haha! Once settled, we took a boat ride to the island. When we got there, DAMN! We felt like we're not even welcome to stay there. Knowing that we have already booked the place beforehand. Our "kubo" was literally the house of the resort keeper. They still have their things inside. We're 7 heads and the "kubo" was good for 4 to 5 heads. And the water in front of the resort is, how do I say this? A huge disappointment. We didn't even had the strength to walk and check the other side of the beach coz we were all tired. They said that the other side of the beach that has the resort name ARMADA, has a great view and a clear water. They said it was well kept. Too bad they contacted us when we have already made the downpayment for the other resort. Sigh!

We only spent one night at Magalawa, which was supposed to be 3days and 2nights. We just couldn't stand the place we're staying at. Good thing we rented a van coz we got to decide to pack up and change location. 

That's when we headed back to Iba Zambales to look for a place to stay. We got a good one :) and at a discounted price too, since the owner of the resort knows Momi Joi's family.

We decided to go to Potipot Island so we could still enjoy our stay at Zambales. Potipot was a nice and chillaxing place to go to :) We wanna go back there :p All in all, we still had a good time :)

Puerto Galera (February2013)

Come February, we went back to Puerto Galera with a group of 11... That time, it was Momi Joi's birthday celebration. She wanted to go to Puerto Galera and I couldn't say no. hahaha! Of course we had a blast as well. Good times. Memories that will be kept forever. Genuine happiness I must say :)

Puerto Galera (January2013)

Last January, we went to Puerto Galera. Stayed there for 3days and 2nights :) It was my birthday celebration as well. Had a blast with friends :) People always ask me why at this age I haven't gone to Puerto Galera. They said it was a cheap trip. Well, they're right :) Spent 4k to 5k for 3days and 2nights. Was worth it though. No regrets at all. We get to have a nice place to stay, cheap food and enjoyed our island hopping. However, if you're not fond of drinking, and you just want to enjoy a quiet beach, Puerto Galera is not your place :p The island is full of bars ;) Though the islands we've gone to is superb. I recommend Puerto Galera to those peepz who wants to have fun in daytime and drink till you drop when the night falls....
